Social Media reminds me of Goodwill Hunting. It allows the low man on the totem pole to have a voice. It allows a starter position who has some knowledge to do something outside of their job title and get recognized by writing, recording, or speaking out in the channels that allow anyone to have a voice.

The opposite is also true. It allows everyone to see the CEO or the Executive Team is not as smart as they think they are. No one is there to write their speech for them, design all of their marketing emails, make them look smart. No one. Social Media is more like a leveling tool than anything else in the corporate arena. It allows anyone, in any role, at any time to get recognized. As long as you are not an idiot
